Sega have finally revealed what Sonic Lost World is going to look like and it’s all rather familiar. Seriously the game looks straight up like Super Mario Galaxy but that’s not exactly the worst thing you can say about a game, in fact that’s a massive compliment.
Sonic Lost World is the newest Sonic title which is going to be a Nintendo exclusive meaning it will only be available on Wii U and 3DS. The game is the result of partnership between Sega and Nintendo although it was never explained whether this is simply an exclusive agreement or if Nintendo will be helping out with development of the game, even if it were nothing more than that of an advisory role.

The Super Mario Galaxy comparisons will no doubt flood the internet now that we know what the game looks like but I would like to remind of you of the cancelled Sonic Xtreme for the Sega Saturn. If Sega wanted to they could just pretend that Sonic Lost World is essentially Sonic Xtreme reborn.
We all know how bad some of the more recent Sonic titles have been but Sonic Colours & Generations both represented huge steps forward for Sonic in terms of quality. As far as Sonic Lost World is concerned, I’m interested and look forward to learning more.
