Still pissed about the delay? The Rayman Legends online challenge mode has been revealed and hopes to ease the pain.
As most of you will know by now, Ubisoft’s highly anticipated Rayman Legends was delayed all the way until September so that the new PS3 & Xbox 360 versions of the game can launch alongside the Wii U version. The news wouldn’t be so bad if the Wii U version of the game wasn’t already finished.
Not long after the announcement of the delay came the announcement of a second playable demo for Wii U, I was so angry that I didn’t even bother writing a post regarding the second demo. It turns out however that the second demo isn’t really a demo but something different, consider it damage control by Ubisoft.
Starting sometime in April Wii U owners will be able to download the FREE Rayman Legends online challenge mode from the eShop.
“We just wanted to reach out and let you know how truly humbled we were by the outpouring of support from the community and the fans about the announcement of the delay of Rayman Legends, and let you know that it definitely hurt us to see you guys so upset about the delay,” - senior game manager Michael Micholic
I’m personally not very happy with how Ubisoft handled this entire mess but I guess the game will be a better product for it come September. I don’t to come across as lazy here but check out the video below to see what this Wii U challenge mode is all about.
Trailer Spoiler Warning: Haha, none obviously.
