The Elder Scrolls Online Playstation 4 version won’t require a Playstation Plus subscription but Xbox One version will require Xbox Live Gold.
Confirmed, The Elder Scrolls Online for Playstation 4 won’t require any Playstation Plus subscription to be played, just the usual monthly fee of the game itself. On the other hand, Xbox One users will have to pay the game’s fee plus the Xbox Live Gold subscription.
According to Joystiq:
The Elder Scrolls Online will not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play on PS4, ZeniMax Online Studios Game Director Matt Firor wrote in a PlayStation Blog update. Bethesda confirmed to Joystiq that the subscription-based MMORPG will require an Xbox Live Gold membership to play on Xbox One, however.
Is it just me or Microsoft is starting to fail with their policies on Xbox One decisions? Time will tell.
