It’s taken a while but it looks like Killer Instinct on Xbox One will finally be a legit entry in the series now that fan favourite Fulgore is back. Why Fulgore wasn’t the one featured in the very first trailer at E3 last year is beyond me but he has finally arrived so put down your pitchforks… keep them raised if you’re a Cinder fan.
First up is the trailer itself featuring Fulgore in all his glory alongside a small tease of the new arcade mode. Yeah I know, someone actually had the balls to release a fighting game without an arcade mode.
Perhaps more interesting than the trailer is that we finally now know who will be taking over development duties from Double Helix. It’s the guys over at Iron Galaxy Studios who are responsible for the fantastic Street Fighter III Third Strike, Marvel vs Capcom Origins and Darkstalkers Resurrection ports on PSN/XBLA.
Whilst the team over at Iron Galaxy Studios has a great reputation porting games, they’re not exactly well known for making their own games so it’s definitely going to be a proving ground of sorts for them.
Fulgore, arcade mode and 8 player lobbies will be available on April 9th.
