Grand Theft Auto Vice City Mobile Coming Next Month

Grand Theft Auto Vice City will be coming to mobiles next month and I don’t think I’m ever going to get used to the idea of a GTA game running on my phone. To be fair we’ve already seen Grand Theft Auto III on mobiles and the idea of a portable GTA title became a reality back in 2005 with Liberty City Stories for the PSP so that’s seven years ago. The more I look into this the more it upsets me so we’ll move on.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City was the follow up to Grand Theft Auto III, it’s still to this day considered by many to be the best game in the series. I’m personally not sure about that but it sure had the best soundtrack by a mile, you can never go wrong with Out of Touch by Hall & Oates or Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.

This 10th Anniversary Edition brings the full experience of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to mobile devices, with native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms including updated character models and lighting effects, new and more precise firing and targeting options, a fully customizable control layout and native support for Retina display devices.

The actual date for Grand Theft Auto Vice City on mobile devices is December 6th and will cost a very fair $4.99 or about £2.99. I can’t really give the game my blessing thanks to the lack of physical buttons on these devices but if you really need to play GTA on a mobile then the excellent Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars is a better option.

For the sake of padding out this post a little more here is a list of all the compatible devices for Grand Theft Auto Vice City 10th Anniversary for those interested. To everyone else let’s just laugh at how silly some of these names are.
