If you like Command & Conquer franchise and also FPS, you are in luck. A bunch of fans have created a multiplayer game that combines both factors, it is called Renegade-X and it will be leaving the beta phase soon with a release next month.
Some facts about Renegade-X because quite a few people seem confused by this.
-This version is UDK based and stand alone.
-There is a UT3 version, this is NOT it.
-We did NOT work 7 years on the multiplayer version. 7 years was the complete cycle of UT3, Black Dawn (Singleplayer) and the upcoming February 2014 multiplayer release.
-It’s 100% free, NO Free 2 Play model.
-EA will not shut us down. (Unless they pull some 180) We’ve been in contact with EA pretty much from the start and they’ve given us their blessing as long as we don’t make money off of the product.
