The newest episode of the Tomb Raider guide to survival series is now live and this time it’s the exploration trailer. Without wanting to sound like a broken record I’ll avoid speaking on the multiplayer side of things, I’ve already expressed my feelings regarding it’s inclusion so you know by now that I’m not too keen on it.
The rest of the game is looking superb and my opinion on it has not changed, if anything I’m more excited about Tomb Raider every time I see it. People have been giving Tomb Raider a hard time for a while now but I feel the comments are harsh and without merit in many cases. I look at this trailer which focuses on the exploration aspect of the game and see no problem with it, bring it on Crystal D.
Out of all the trailers released so far I have to say this one has sold me on the game more than the others, assuming the narrator isn’t talking rubbish it appears the game borrows from the Metroid series. Returning to places you’ve already visited but this time round with new items that help Lara reach new areas is straight out of Metroid and should put those Uncharted comparison on hold, if only until the next trailer.
