Spy Hunter, the remake of the 1983 arcade classic, releases this week for 3DS and PlayStation Vita. To celebrate its arrival, TT Fusion have released a launch trailer to remind us all that it’s ready to buy.
It’s been almost 30 years since we first got behind the wheel of the G-6155 Interceptor and blasted our rivals to smithereens as we barreled down the highway. The remake follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, giving drivers the ability to shift between supercar, off-road assault vehicle, and speed boat whenever they wish, providing a huge number of options when it comes to choosing a route.We’ll also be getting additional support in the form of an unmanned aerial support drone, allowing players to plan their destruction when assaulting enemy agent strongholds.
It looks like a lot of fun, and should provide a hit of nostalgia along with a serious dose of modern gaming enjoyment. Here’s the launch trailer:
