Sly Trilogy Possibly Heading To The Vita?

It seems the Sly Trilogy may be joining Jak And Daxter on the Vita in the near future. The guys over at CVG have spotted a listing for a possible version of the Sly Cooper Trilogy on Sony’s PlayStation Vita, usually these listing have proven to be rather accurate in the past.

Just the other day I did a post on the Jak And Daxter series also making the jump so this one is pretty much a given, if anything we should probably expect to see the Rachet & Clank Trilogy also make an appearance on the Vita at some point.

The ESRB listing contains the following summary of the game.

This is a collection of action-adventure games in which players assume the role of Sly Cooper, a master thief attempting to steal objects from villains and thieves. Players control Sly and his friends as they run and jump through levels, collecting coins, and using various attacks against enemies (e.g., punches, spin attacks, and slams). In some sequences, players use “cartoony” turrets to shoot down enemy planes and tanks. Players can also shoot down enemy planes by using a blimp or a model helicopter. Enemies generally disappear amid puffs of smoke, or scattered coins during ground battles.

Ports are normally not much to get excited about but I for one welcome these games, they may be old but if you’ve never played them before then you’re in for a treat. Since we’re on the topic of port begging, I’d love to see Burnout and SSX collections on the Vita. Imagine Burnout 3 Takedown on that OLED on the go, YES PLEASE!
