Security Risk With Ubisoft PC Games

An article on Rock Paper Shotgun revealed a security leak through the UPlay browser plugin via Google Chrome. Hackers are able to install programs or generally mess up your PC via the tool. FireFox seem to have issues with it as well. Ubisoft only stated that they are looking into the issue.

In order to disable the tool;

Firefox - Go to tools > Add ons > Plugin then disable the UPlay and UPlay PC Hub.

Chrome > Click the ‘wrench-icon > settings > extensions > Either delete or disable it.
