Sony have released a new behind the scenes trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive shooter, RESOGUN. Wait hold on, you have heard of RESOGUN before right? It’s designed by the same team behind the Super Stardust series, more specifically ‘HD’ on the PlayStation 3 and ‘Delta’ on the PlayStation Vita. That alone right there should be enough to warrant your attention.
RESOGUN in some ways could be considered a spiritual sequel to the Super Stardust series although that’s not to mean it’s the same game under a different name. Whilst Super Stardust allowed players to navigate freely around a small planet, RESOGUN has players instead limited to an x-axis. It doesn’t mean that the game is limited in any way, far from it, it simply means that it’s similar yet different. If anything it looks like a fusion between Super Stardust and the arcade classic ‘Defender’.
