Arguably the most interesting thing happening over at Capcom at the moment is Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies for the Nintendo 3DS. Phoenix Wright is finally making the jump to 3D which is a HUGE step forward for series, so much so that many fans such as myself were rather worried if the amazing 2D sprites would even translate well into 3D.
As you can see Capcom have done a mighty fine job of keeping the charm of the originals, to the untrained eye you could even mistake it for a 2D game. I’m super hyped to see this one running on my 3DS XL, should be a treat on the eyes too with the usual set of amusing animations the series is known for.

Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies for the Nintendo 3DS will arrive on July 25th in Japan and everyone else in the fall 2013. It’s also only going to be a digital release only which sucks, I really want to add this game to my physical collection. Capcom’s reasoning is the usual boring stuff like difficulties securing retail space.
