Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut Revealed (UPDATE)

deus ex 600 x 300

Long rumoured yet never truly revealed it’s Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut for the Wii U according to an Amazon listing. Amazon listings now appear to be the hot new trend within the industry, don’t bother reading our site for gaming news, just go dig around on Amazon instead.

Deus Ex Human Revolution is the third entry in the series acting as a prequel to the original Deus Ex released way back in 2000. Unlike Deus Ex Invisible War, Human Revolution was extremely well received by critics and fans alike so now the game will make an appearance on Nintendo’s system.

  • Ultimate Deus Ex: Human Revolution experience : take advantage of a multitude of improvements, features and additional content that bring this already critically-acclaimed adventure towhole new levels
  • Tap into the Wii U?s GamePad true potential: Adam Jensen?s newest augmentation, the Neural Hub, offers an immersive and empowering experience, right at the tips of your fingers
  • Absolute fusion of action and role-play: A unique combination of action-packed close-quarter takedowns and intense shooting, offering a vast array of augmentations and upgrades for the many weapons at your disposal
  • Multi-solution structure: Choose how to accomplish each mission using combat, hacking, stealth or social mode to create a customized experience to suit any gaming style
  • Diverse customization: Engage in combat and challenges utilizing deep, specialized character augmentations and weapon upgrades

At the moment nothing is official although that box art looks pretty legit from what I can see, we’ve also been seeing listings elsewhere regarding a Wii U port of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Hopefully they won’t screw up the port, I’m growing tired of seeing bad ports on Wii U.

Update

Turns out that the Amazon listing was correct after all and the game is indeed happening. Boss fights will be reworked much to the delight of games all across the world. Amazon has the game listed for a May 7th launch and judging by their track record, they’re more than likely correct.

The Director’s Cut offers a full slate of Wii U™ GamePad features including touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and many other neural hub enhancements. Along with in-depth Miiverse™ integration, the Director’s Cut also provides access to developer commentaries and in-game guides.

Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have also been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the Director’s Cut. Other core Deus Ex: Human Revolution augmentations include overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, and striking visual improvements which make this edition the best looking and most immersive Deus Ex experience available.
