Dead Space 3 Take Down The Terror Trailer

As we approach February and March it seems all the launch trailers are starting to come out, this time we have the Dead Space 3 Take Down The Terror trailer. The original Dead Space was and still is one of my favourite games from this generation, it basically did what I was expecting Resident Evil 5 to do and that was deliver a survival horror experience.

As with all things that are a success these days the original Dead Space received a sequel which arrived in early 2011 which isn’t too long ago when you think about it. I’m currently in the process of working my way through it so I’ll be ready for Dead Space 3 when it does arrive on February 8th in Europe. So far I’m enjoying the game about as much as I did the original, it feels like more of the same but I’m perfectly okay with that.

Dead Space 3 got off a terrible start for me, I first saw the game at E3 and much like everyone else I thought I was looking at video footage of Lost Planet 3. Since then the game has slowly won me over but I’m not sold on it just yet, co-op in survival horror games is usually all sorts of fail but in Dead Space 3 it’s optional so I can’t complain. For what it’s worth I much prefer co-op than whatever the hell they were thinking when they did Dead Space 2′s competitive multiplayer.

From what I’ve gathered it appears that Dead Space 3 might run the chance of getting overlooked, yes pre-order numbers are better than Dead Space 2 but generally speaking I’m not hearing much buzz around the game. We’ll have to wait a little longer in order to find out if they “ruined Dead Space” but certainly a title worth keeping an eye on.
